The Jacksonville Police Department, (JPD), is a modern law enforcement agency committed to creative problem solving. Currently 150 strong, the JPD is composed of two major divisions of assignment; Investigative/Support Services and Patrol/Field Operations.  The organizational structure provides a full range of law enforcement services and protection for the residents and visitors to the City of Jacksonville.

The JPD publishes an Annual Report highlighting programs & services, yearly achievements, emergency calls, crime and other statistics. Also included in the Annual Report is an overview of the department.
