Mayor's Committee for Persons with Disabilities

The principle objective of the Mayor's Committee for Persons with Disabilities is to enhance the quality of life for the disabled members of our community by promoting citizen awareness and understanding of the plight of disabled persons.

The Mayor's Committee for Persons with Disabilities meets the first Wednesday of each month at 12 noon at Logan's Roadhouse, 1177 Western Boulevard. Staff Liaison is Mrs. Carmen Miracle. Council Liaison is Council Member Fannie Coleman.

Qualifications for Appointment:

Members must reside or have employment within Onslow County. Priority is given to persons with disabilities and/or representatives of agencies involved with health and disability issues.
