 Planning Board
The City of Jacksonville Planning Board is responsible for advising City Council on matters involving long-range community planning, comprehensive planning, zoning and development proposals. The Planning Board meets each month on the Mondays after the first City Council meeting at 6:00 p.m. in the Council Chambers of Jacksonville City Hall, 815 New Bridge Street.City Council Liaison to the Planning Board - Mike Lazzara.
Qualifications for Appointment:
Eight (8) members shall reside within the City limits and one member shall be a resident of the Extraterritorial Jurisdiction (ETJ). Members must be registered to vote within Onslow County, except for active duty military personnel.
