CREATE Program

C.R.E.A.T.E. (Community Revitalization Effort Assisted by Technical Education) is a partnership between Coastal Carolina Comunity College and the City of Jacksonville providing construction education opportunities for college students constructing affordable housing.


The City provides land and construction materials and the College provides couse study work and labor for the CREATE Program. The trade students benefit by achieving "hands-on" training experience in the construction of a home. Once completed, the home is sold to a qualified low to moderate income family.
