Housing Rehab Program


Residential Rehabilitation Program

This program provides low interest loans or grants towards the rehabilitation of an applicant's principle residence located in the city limits of Jacksonville. Funding is used for correction of minimum housing code violations, handicapped improvements and other repairs necessary to improve the health and safety of the property. Applicant must meet HUD income guidelines.

Rental Rehabiliation Program:

This program provides low interest loans to property owners whose rental property is below minimum housing standards and is located in the city limits of Jacksonville. Once completed, home must be rented and made affordable to low to moderate income households in accordance with HUD income guidelines.

2009 Household Income Requirements (subject to change annually)

  • 1 person family must have combined household income less than $27,950
  • 2 person family must have combined household income less than $31,900
  • 3 person family must have combined household income less than $35,900
  • 4 person family must have combined household income less than $39,900
  • 5 person family must have combined household income less than $43,100
  • 6 person family must have combined household income less than $46,300
  • 7 person family must have combined household income less than $49,500
  • 8 person family must have combined household income less than $52,650
