The final draft of the Country Club / Sandy Run Neighborhood Plan is now complete! Thank you to all who participated in the drafting. The Plan is scheduled for review at the City Council for workshop on April 5. If accepted the plan will be presented for recommendation by the City Planning Board on April 11. Final approval lies with City Council during a City Council Meeting. Come out to show your support!

Neighborhood Plan 3rd Open House!
Come and voice your opinion on the Country Club / Sandy Run Neighborhood Plan
The City will host an Open House on January 25 at both 2PM & 6PM. The Open House will be held at Sandy Run Missionary Baptist Church’s Fellowship Hall, 1503 Hargett St. Those attending will be asked for their input on the draft neighborhood plan for the area
The plan recommends improvements to recreation opportunities, transit and transportation options, community character and community safety based on the previous Open Houses. City staff will be on hand to answer questions and residents are encouraged to attend and provide feedback on the Plan.
Paper copies of the Plan will be handed out and discussed at the Open House. Advance copies of the draft Plan can also be downloaded prior to the meeting.

Neighborhood Plan 2nd Open House!
The City hosted a second neighborhood plan open house for the Country Club - Sandy Run neighborhood on July 27, 6pm at the Sandy Run Missionary Baptist Church Fellowship Hall, located at 1503 Hargett Street.
At the open house, residents provided ideas for what recommendations will be included in their neighborhood plan. If you weren't able to attend the meeting, please take a moment to contact City staff and let us know what you think.
The Neighborhood Planning Program kicked-off with its first public meeting for the Country Club - Sandy Run Planning Area in April to discuss concerns and ideas about land use, parks, noise, traffic and more. The City of Jacksonville is interested in hearing from all of the residents of in the area.
