Military Orientation Program

The Jacksonville Community is very unique in that we have such a diverse audience. Due to our military population we have people from all walks of life. The Jacksonville Police Department is very understanding to that fact, therefore, lectures are given to military audiences and their dependents on high crime areas, type of crimes committed. Also available are tips on how to prevent oneself from falling victim to crime.

Crime Prevention for the Military

Briefings aboard military base Camp Lejeune, Camp Johnson, Camp Geiger, and New River Air Station are provided. This program addresses specifics topics such as: Street con games, high crime areas, state statutes, and local ordinances pertaining to drugs and prostitution. This program has proven to be effective.
