FLEET MAINTENANCE DIVISION

The Fleet Maintenance Division is located at the Fleet Maintenance Facility, 350 South Marine Blvd, Building C (the building on the left behind the gas pumps).  To reach the facility, turn at the stop light next to Auto Zone, across the highway from McDonald's.  If you need further directions, call 910.938.5230.

The Fleet Maintenance Division is responsible for the maintenance and repair of City vehicles and rolling equipment such as mowers, backhoes, gators, generators, etc.  The division also assists other departments in developing specifications for the procurement of vehicles and rolling equipment.

The division's five mechanics support 246 vehicles, to include sanitation trucks, pickups and police vehicles, 41 trailers, 40 mowers, and 69 additional miscellaneous rolling equipment items, for a total of 396 pieces of equipment.
