Community Development

The Community Development Advisory Committee (CDAC) is a citizen based committee which acts as a liaison between the City of Jacksonville and the Community. The purpose of this committee is to provide a public forum to hear and screen the citizen's concerns as related to community development projects. The duties of the committee include assessing the needs of the community and providing feedback to the Community Development Division.

The CDAC is composed of a total of nine members and one Council liaison appointed by the Mayor and City Council. Members make additional recommendations as so requested by the City Council.

The Community Development Advisory Committee meets the third Monday of every even month at 6:00 p.m. at City Hall. We welcome anyone who would like to attend our meetings and learn more about our projects.
