National Night Out 2010

The 12th Annual National Night Out, on Tuesday, August 3, 2010 at the Jacksonville Riverwalk Park was a family fun event providing the public with an opportunity to meet local law enforcement officers and emergency management personnel who share in supporting the prevention of crime, drugs and violence in our community.

According to Captain Patricia Driggers, Event Chairman, the event typically draws a crowd of more than 10,000. “The Committee has been hard at work and is looking forward to another successful year with National Night Out,” Captain Driggers stated a week before the event.

The public utilized the free parking and transportation where Jacksonville Transit picked up patrons throughout the evening.
