NNO 2011 LogoNational Night Out is held yearly at Riverwalk Park in downtown Jacksonville. Jacksonville Police host this exciting event to celebrate community and to promote crime prevention. More than 10,000 citizen's attend each August.

  2011 Events
Nantucket Band Nantucket Band is the featured live musical entertainment for the evening. This concert will be one to remember as they play familiar tunes throughout the event.

The yearly Bicycle Raffle Giveaway for area children is a highlighted event!

Bicycle Raffle Rules
-Children must be under 15 Years of age to enter raffle
-Children must be accompanied by a Parent or Guardian
Child and Parent/ Guardian must be present to win
-Three tickets per child
-One bicycle prize per child


 200+ Plus vendors will be lined up along the walkway of the beautiful riverwalk. Food, City, County, Military, Crafts, Activity booths and more!

Food vendors and Activities for all ages will provide entertainment for all to enjoy. A Childrens play area will be available.
A fireworks display on the Water by Riverwalk Park will take place at sundown! Pull up a blanket or lawn chair and enjoy!

Jacksonville Police Department wins award for NNO 2010 Efforts

2010 National Night Out, Presidents Award for Onslow CountyThe Jacksonville Police Department wins the Jacksonville - Onslow Chamber of Commerce "Presidents Award" for their efforts in a successful 2010 National Night Out Event. The award was presented at the 2010 Event and Festival Awards ceremony in Jacksonville.

According to Captain Patricia Driggers, Event Chairman, the event typically draws a crowd of more than 10,000. “The Committee has been hard at work and is looking forward to another successful year with National Night Out,” Captain Driggers stated a week before the event.
